Vergil, Trish and Lady are said to be playable characters and can be played on any of the levels you play in the original game. The special edition includes a Legendary Knight mode from the PC version of Devil May Cry 4 and  will be added to the XB1/PS4.

Dying Light Breaks Dead Island Records

Dying Light is performing better than Techland's other major zombie series, Dead Island. The original Dead Island which was released in 2011 and sold 1 million copies in its first week (compared to 1.2 million  of Dying Light) and 3 million copies in 90 days. Dying Light has eclipsed that mark in half the time,
Techland said.

Dying Light still has to do some work to match Dead Island's long-term haul, however, as that game has shipped more than 5 million copies.

Techland released an infographic with some illuminating numbers to mark Dying Light's sales milestone. One such example is that, players have collected $1,250,000,000,000 (that's $1.25 trillion) worth of in-game cash, which is estimated to be about 16X the net worth of Bill Gates(the world's richest person).

Following Dying Light's debut, Techland has launched a variety of free content and more, which  includes additional weapons and outfits, as well as Hard Mode. In addition, Techland plans to release mod tools for the PC edition of Dying Light. The developers also pledged to actively support all versions of the game with more maps, modes, skills, quests, and "other original content" in the future.

Hideo Kojima may leave Konami after Metal Gear 5 finished

It’s not exaggarating to say that in the past years, it was pretty much Kojima keeping Konami at the front. After the 2008 Metal Gear Solid 4, the 2010 Castlevania: Lords of Shadow and the FOX Engine were all his work. Alright, but it seems like he will not have a leading role in Konami anymore starting April 1, plus “A HIDEO KOJIMA GAME” and the Kojima Productions logo all started to disappear from the official artwork of Metal Gear Solid games, which includes the September-dated The Phantom Pain! !! And also, the pretty much official MGS account recommends followers to move over to a new one on Twitter…

The Los Angeles-based Kojima Productions studio was also renamed to Konami Los Angeles, plus the saddest thing in it is that an unnamed insider source says that the entire Kojima-team will leave in December, but they will pretty much complete the work after The Phantom Pain. But there are no official confirmation as of yet, but there is a question. What happens to the Silent Hills game with Guillermo Del Toro?

METAL GEAR Games Without KOJIMA, KONAMI CONFIRMED

Yesterday we mentioned how Hideo Kojima is going to leave Konami, which is followed by yesterday's news piece saying Konami continuing the Metal Gear
franchise without him. There is no doubt that Kojima will give his best effort into the September 1-dated Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain to have a good high ending note at his Konami tenure, but it is still impossible to see what the future has for us in store after that.

For many fans, Metal Gear will officially die after The Phantom Pain, so it looks like Konami might drive another franchise into the ground (after Castlevania and Silent Hill), but let’s wait until September first – hopefully we’ll get to know where Kojima and his team goes by then…

'God of War III' is the latest big game to get a PS4 makeover

Yes, developers are still rehashing popular last-generation games in an attempt to pad out a thin current-gen catalog -- meet God of War III Remastered, a PS4 overhaul of the classic deity-slaying PlayStation 3 title. Sony Santa Monica isn't being too specific about what is new, but it's promising prettier, "silky smooth" 1080p brawling (here's hoping that means 60 frames per second) and a new photo mode that lets you capture vicious kills or scenic vistas. The PlayStation 4 refresh arrives on July 14th in the US, and July 17th in the United Kingdom. It won't make up for the Uncharted 4 delay, but it'll give you something fun (if not strictly new) to play during the usual summer game drought.

Star Wars Battlefront will not be on PS3

It’s not a big surprise to see a lot of developers slowly, but steadily leaving, almost-a-decade old PlayStation 3 behind them. This is what Electronic Arts are doing with their upcoming Star Wars: Battlefront game. It is confirmed on Twitter that this SW game will be out during the holiday season (which means a time frame between mid-November and mid-December) on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. Looks like Star Wars fans have to start getting together money for a PS4, if they haven’t done yet…

You can pre-order a Nintendo "NX" right now, but please don't

A gaming retailer in Australia has just opened pre-orders for Nintendo's next console, the 'NX'. You know, the one that was barely announced this week, which we probably won't see for two years.

Nintendo promised to tell us more about its new home console next year. Even if it is revealed at, say, E3 2016, the console probably will not arrive for some while after.

Plus, we have no idea what it's even going to look like - it could be a donut, for crying out loud. Normally we would not care so much, but for EB Games, the retailer in question, is pretty big.

So just don't do it, yeah? We are sure Nintendo will cook up something awesome to make up for the faults of the Wii U, but we would not be so silly as to literally put money on it right now - even if it's refundable.

The new 3DS is here - is it a worthwhile upgrade?

ASUS new gaming laptop packs NVIDIA's latest graphics card

NVIDIA has officially launched the GTX- 960M, and a number of manufacturers have revealed new and thin gaming laptops. The video card was designed for at the same time. One of those laptops is the ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) G501, which measures 0.81 inch in depth and weighs about 4.54 pounds. The GTX - 960M card inside it can deliver "sharp, vivid visuals, high-quality textures and smooth framerates in the most demanding games," at least according to ASUS. In addition to the video card you  find a quad-core Intel Core i7 processor, 4GB of GDDR5 RAM and  512GB SSD under the hood, encased in a typical ROG brushed metal- body with red accents.

The device comes pre-installed with Windows 8.1 and has a 15.6-inch 4K/Ultra HD display, three USB 3.0 ports and an Intel Thunderbolt connection. In addition , it uses the company's dual-fan cooling system for super slim laptops called ASUS Hyper Cool Technology. It will set you back $1,999 when it becomes available in April. If you want to buy a gaming laptop right now,  ASUS is also re-releasing a couple of older models equipped with NVIDIA's new graphics cards today.

First is the lower-end version of the G751 called the G751JL, which comes with the new GTX-965M graphics card instead of the GTX 980M/970M, like you will find inside the former. It costs $1,399, or $100 cheaper than the previous model's cheapest unit. Now finally the company is updating its GL551 laptops with the GTX 960M cards to release two versions that cost $1,099 and $1,299, depending on their SSDs. All these laptops are (or will be, in G501's case) available in various retail outlets, but make sure you check out the ASUS G-Serieswebsite first for more info and a list of stores that where you can find them.
